The current basic principles governing the school’s admission regulations are listed below but may be subject to amendment without notice.  For the latest information contact the Administrative Manager.

REGULATIONS

▪  Admission to LICEF School is open to all students irrespective of race, culture, creed, ethnic group or religion.

The child must be three and a half years of age on 1st January of the year of entrance into Nursery One or an appropriate age for other grades.

   ▪ Applications may be put on the waitlist at any time, but will only be  valid till the end of the year.  The application may be renewed by the parent/guardian at the end of each year if it has not been successful. No extra cost shall be incurred for such a renewal

Applicants for any grade shall be screened by the school staff to determine academic ability.

  ▪ A reference letter / letter of clearance / letter of transfer or a letter of conduct from a previous school may be required in cases of a learner wishing admission into LICEF from another school.

Appropriate fees and all relevant forms, including a  certified copy of the birth certificate, must be submitted before a child is accepted.

In the case of students already enrolled, re-registration is required of all those seeking selection at Grade 8 and Grade 10 levels.

NOTE WELL

When making an application to the school, it is of great importance that parents fully understand the school’s academic requirements, extra-curricular activities and fee schedules, and in particular, the school’s religious leanings.  There is no compulsion in religious belief or practice, but school rules are enforced without exception. Further details on the above are available on inquiry from the respective section Head Teachers.
