3. ASSIGNMENTS |

▪ Teachers in the primary and secondary sections will give homework for continuous assessment purposes of the learner's work. Parents/guardians should ensure that the homework is supervised and that they duly examine and sign the Homework Diary as and when required. ▪ The following guidelines have been extracted from the school's homework policy document. The guidelines are meant to make it easy for parents to follow what the school is doing as far as homework is concerned.
WRITTEN HOMEWORK & STUDY TIMES: G10/11/12 Minimum 8 hours/week (2 hours each day) G8/9 Minimum 6 hours/week (1½ hours each day) G6/7 Minimum 2 hours 40 min. (40 minutes each day) G3,4/5 Minimum 2 hours/week (30 minutes each day) G1/2 Minimum 1 hour/week (15 minutes each day) Nursery 1/2 Minimum 1 hour/week (15 minutes each day)
