▪ It is always best to talk to your childs grade/subject teacher or the Head Teacher about any problem as soon as it arises. It can often be solved very simply. ▪ All communication with the school must be in writing and must include the parent's or guardian's name, address, telephone and fax numbers (if possible) and the name & grade of the child. ▪ THE SCHOOL WILL NOT RESPOND TO ANONYMOUS TELEPHONE CALLS OR LETTERS SIGNED SIMPLY AS CONCERNED PARENT/S or the like. ▪ Notices are an essential method of communication between the School and parent/s. Please ask your child on a regular basis if any notice or a circular has been handed out at school. Kindly respond to these notices promptly, if requested. ▪ All complaints must be directed to the Head Teacher and not to individual members of the General Council or the Executive Committee. The complaint will be investigated and a report will be issued to the complainant as soon as possible. ▪ There are more formal ways of making a complaint, and on some issues, you can appeal against decisions to the LICEF Executive Committee who will adjudicate. ▪ No parent is allowed to confront teachers at any time. The School has in place a Parent Code of Conduct which will apply in case of abuse of staff. ▪ Should there be any dispute regarding the interpretation of the rules and/or the code of conduct or any aspect or clause thereof of the School Disciplinary Code, then the meaning assigned to such a clause by the LICEF Executive Committee shall be FINAL and binding.
HOME SCHOOL BEHAVIOR OBLIGATIONS (TO BE SIGNED BY THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN)
INTRODUCTION. ▪ The School works on the principle that parents share in their child's educational partnership. In order to do this, co-operation from the parents is essential and expected.
